An idyllic village located 13km from Corfu Town. Other than its traditional charm, it boasts one of the best possible locations to watch the sunset from. The village is built on top of a hill and offers sweeping views across the whole island. Pelekas is rather small and features several tavernas where you can enjoy your meal with a view. From here you can reach some of the finest beaches of the west coast, such as Glyfada and Myrtiotissa. Once you have roamed the streets of the traditional village head up to Kaiser’s Throne, an observatory perched on the highest point of the hill of Pelekas and watch as the sun slowly sinks into the sea, painting it with its colors.
