Palaiokastritsa

Probably Corfu’s most cosmopolitan resort. It is located 25km northwest of Corfu town and promises stunning views and dips into crystalline yet cool waters, against a dramatic backdrop of sheer cliffs. The area is carved with 6 main coves, all of them pebbly and some solely accessible by boat. Indeed this part of the island is most known for some secret beaches of unique natural beauty, untouched by modern tourist development. If you somehow manage to drag yourself away from its stunning beaches, you can visit the byzantine monastery of Paleokastritsa, perched on top of a steep hill, and enjoy the truly breathtaking views across the coast.
